What We Store in Our Database

What We DON'T Store in Our Database

• • Your resume content (stored locally in your browser only)
• • Personal information from your profile (stored locally in your browser only)
• • Job application outcomes or tracking data
• • Browsing history or activity outside of job applications

How Your Data is Used with AI Models

OpenAI Partnership & Data Protection

We use OpenAI's API to help auto-fill job applications. Here's how your data flows:

• • No training on your data: OpenAI has contractually agreed that data sent through our API is never used to train their models
• • OpenAI automatic deletion: All data sent to OpenAI is automatically deleted and not retained by OpenAI, as outlined in https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/your-data
• • Maestra logs storage: While OpenAI doesn't retain your data, we do store logs of AI interactions in our database for debugging and service improvement
• • API-only usage: We only use OpenAI's API for real-time processing, not for any data storage or model training

How Your Personal Information is Handled

• • Resume content is stored locally in your Chrome browser AND in our AI interaction logs
• • Profile details (name, contact info, experience) are stored locally on your device AND in our AI logs
• • Form responses are generated in real-time and sent directly to job sites, with the AI requests/responses logged
• • We do store your personal information through AI logs, but deleting it is simple - just email us

Data Deletion

Complete Data Removal

If you want your data deleted from our systems:

Email us at zac.autoswe@gmail.com and we'll delete all your data, no questions asked.

What gets deleted:

• • Your account and email address
• • All AI interaction logs
• • Usage history and subscription data
• • Any other data associated with your account

Local Data Removal

To remove data stored locally in your browser:

• • Uninstall the Chrome extension - this automatically deletes all locally stored profile and resume data
• • Or clear extension data in Chrome settings → Extensions → Maestra → Remove

Your Privacy Rights

• • Access: Email us to request a copy of all data we have about you
• • Correction: Email us to correct any inaccurate data
• • Deletion: Email us to delete all your data from our systems
• • Portability: Email us to receive your data in a portable format
